Who is this for?
Apartment and multi-family property managers, leasing agents, maintenance companies, real estate agents, and anyone else who regularly talks to owners dealing with a non-paying tenant.
What counts as a qualifying referral?
The person you refer must sign up for our Full-Service eviction and complete payment. Notice-only orders and unpaid or cancelled cases do not qualify.
When do I get paid?
Your bonus is credited as soon as the referred case is paid, then released after a short holding period in case the case is refunded or cancelled. After that it is approved and sent to your bank.
How do I actually receive the money?
Through Stripe, our payment processor. You connect your bank account once from your referral dashboard and payouts arrive automatically. We can also arrange to pay you manually.
Is there a limit?
No. There is no cap on how many owners you can refer or how much you can earn.
Do I owe taxes on this?
Referral bonuses are income. If we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year we are required to issue you a 1099-NEC, so we will collect the tax details we need before that point.
I manage property for an owner. Can I still participate?
Usually yes, but check your own obligations first. If you hold a real estate license or manage under a brokerage, you may need to disclose the referral fee to your broker or to the owner. We are happy to provide documentation of what we pay you.
